What is the difference between small batch organic medical marijuana and commercial grown non-organic medical marijuana?
Small batch organic medical marijuana in grown without any chemicals, pesticides or synthetic materials in a more sustainable manner, recycling nearly ever material and practicing strict water conservation. Commercially grown non-organic medical marijuana is grown using excessive water in large parcels of clear cut land. Commercial farmers use synthetic chemicals that create waste water that is leached into our groundwater and/or ends up in our local river. Some of these chemicals have been classified as carcinogens, which is another reason we grow everything, from seed to flower, strictly 100% organic.
What ingredients do you use?
We always use 100% organic ingredients in the propagation of all our flowers. For a full list of ingredients for our flowers, concentrates, edibles and topicals, please click here.
What is the best way to medicate?
There are many different ways to medicate using medical marijuana. Some people prefer to smoke while others prefer edibles. Lots of other great methods exist as well. We’re happy to show you a few of our favorites. Tinctures & balms are another great way to relieve pain & inflammation through age-old natural methods that are high in CBD levels. Alternative methods of medicating have many benefits that may not be found in traditional methods. Every person is different & most will have different preferences. It’s always recommended to try a small amount first & see how you feel one hour later before continuing.
What is THC?
THC is the ingredient in medical cannabis that gives the euphoric feeling that is sometimes experienced while using various methods of medicating. It is typically released by way of heat during smoking or cooking the cannabis to a specified temperature. Other methods of ingesting medical marijuana without heating, allow patients to medicate without the euphoric effects of THC. There are many studies on THC’s ability to reduce the painful pressure of glaucoma. Clinical studies on THC’s analgesic, pain-relieving properties in patients with cancer or severe pain can be found here.
What is CBD?
CBD is a non-psychoactive component of marijuana that possesses a wide range of therapeutic benefits. When present in high quantities, CBD enhances THC’s positive effects. It’s clear both THC & CBD coexist in the plant for a reason, often acting synergistically to create enhanced effects. There are many studies online that discuss CBD’s ability to reverse alcohol-induced brain damage, CBD as an effective treatment for severe social anxiety, and CBD as a potent anti-psychotic medicine.
